Project: Provincial Health Officer Reports
The Provincial Health Officer is responsible to monitor and report on public health trends in the province, and to make recommendations based on his findings. Working with highly technical data, and communicating findings to both professional and public audiences means great care must be taken to present the information in an accurate and accessible manner.
Working with the PHO report team, Alphabet created a unique look for the printed report, which swelled to nearly 300 pages of content and features hundreds of highly detailed graphs and charts.
Thoughtful use of photography and sidebar illustrations emphasized key points and made information accessible to the lay reader.
This report was the fruit of several years of research, and was officially released on December 2, 2011 in a press conference covered by major media outlets. A PDF version of the complete report is available at the Provincial Health Officer's website.
